A little bear thought one day that he would like to be king of the faeries so he made himself some feather wings and called himself Fledar Bär. Fledar Bär is 2 1/2" tall and is crocheted from acrylic thread. His eyes are black onyx beads and his nose, mouth, and claws are embroidered with black rayon thread. His head is jointed with disk and pin while his arms and legs are thread jointed. Fledar Bär is stuffed with polyester and lots of love. His vest is fashioned from a sheer purple ribbon trimmed in gold and his wings are created from many white feathers. He didn't feel royal enough until a gold star bead was added to his chest. Fledar Bär is adapted from a pattern by Berta Hesen-Minten.
